This activity will help children with mastery of addition and subtraction or multiplication and division.

high-fat families are useful for your child and mastering addition and subtraction or multiplication and division activities I have today will help you reinforce this it home here's what you're going you're going to need a 10 about 20 to 30 strips of paper and a time are you can use your cell phone kitchen time or anything like that at work before you begin this activity you're going to need to take the strips of paper you're going to need to write on the paper four numbers princess numbers are going to be part of a fat family this one focuses on multiplication right now if that's family would be three numbers that are connected for instance on this piece of paper I put the numbers 73642 and 6 the 36 is not part of the fact family but 7 * 6 equals 42/6 7 equals 4242 divided by 7 equals 6 and 42 divided by 6 equals 7 that makes those numbers part of a fact family so you will do this for 20 to 30 of these strips of paper after you've done that then you can begin to play this game with your child here's how it works you're going to set a timer for 2 minutes on your cell phone again whenever time where you've got and then your child is going to have to pick up the strips of paper and they will have to decide first of all which number is not part of that fact family then after that they will have to give you a either in application problem or division problem that would part of that family so friends since but this one the number 40 does not belong so your child might stay then 8 * 7 equals 56 it will pick up the next 1/3 does not belong to * 5 what equals 10 play will continue until either the time is up or they get all of the all of the shirts correct now if they do not finish within the 2 minutes they met repeat the play and try to beat the two minutes if they did finish before the two minutes is that then they might decide I'm another way to place you can beat your last time now not only can you do this for multiplication you can do it for addition so this one would be when I set up for dissing this would be the seven would not belong but you would have 5 + 6 equals 11 or you or that your child might stay 11 - 5 equals to I just went hopefully your child will say three does not belong 12 + 8 equals 20 or 20 - 1/12 all right again today Thanksgiving is a ham activities for understanding math fact family I hope this helps by
