If you have not already completed your child’s registration on Skyward please do so as soon as possible.
The first full day for your child will be on Monday August 8th.
Transportation Information:
If you are dropping your child off and picking them up this will be at the back of the school.
Morning drop off is between 7:15-7:30. (After 7:30 you will need to check your child in at the front of the school building.)
Morning Pickup is at 10:30.
Afternoon drop off is promptly at 11:30 a.m. If you will be picking your child up you may do so between 2:20-2:30.
We have a wellness policy in place for our classroom. If your child is sick they must be fever free, without medicine, for 24 hours before returning to school. If they have been vomiting, they may not return until they have not been vomiting for 24 hours. Please use your best judgement to protect all students in the room.
We eat breakfast and lunch as a class. They can pack their meals or purchase food from the cafeteria. We also eat a morning and afternoon snack that we will provide. School breakfasts and lunches are not free this year. Please fill out the free/ reduced lunch form when you are registering your child on Skyward. Even if you do not feel that you will qualify, we are asking that you still fill it out for our records.
You will receive a calendar for the events of the year. If school is delayed or dismissed early due to inclement weather, there will be no school for preschool.
The only supplies your child will need is a full-size backpack, water bottle, change of clothes, and diapers/pull-ups if they are not potty trained. I will send a folder home daily with things that your child has done while at school. I also use CLASS DOJO (a free app) to communicate what we are learning, weekly skills, and important dates. Each week our school has a Stallion’s Store. This is a school wide fundraiser that will continue throughout the school year. You will receive an order form each Monday or Tuesday that you can fill out and turn back in with correct change. Order forms are due on Wednesdays and cannot be accepted after that.
