This activity will help build your child's vocabulary and learn new sight words. You only need paper, marker or pen, dictionary, and magnetic letters.

show me a stronger cabulary will not only help your child with reading and writing that will help your child with all subject areas today's activity can help your child build a better vocabulary as well as learn some new sight words here's what you're going to need you're going to need a piece paper marker or pen a dictionary but we don't all have dictionaries I'll do we later on our house so I chose to use my cell phone or you can use your computer and magnetic letters are always a if you got them also in preparing for the names activity I made sure that I prepared a lesson for an activity excuse me for 2nd grade as well as third grade the only difference between the two will be in the choice of words that I used all right let's get started and we'll begin with second grade for second grade activity I chose sixth sight words and I looked up the definition a kid friendly definition of each side words and I read the definition of the top but when you notice that I wrote the sight word the sight words are scrambled they are not written correctly so your child is going to have to unscramble the sight word and part of learning sight words is actually you know not only do children need to know how to read the word they've got to be able write the word for this says a place in which people live and work that is larger than a town here the Mixed-Up letters children have difficulty arranging those letters in their mind so I always will to get something Paxil for them to use and manipulate so magnetic love letters are great choice so hopefully they will take these magnetic letters and rearrange them so they will come up with the word City because it's is a place in which people live in work that is larger than a town and when they complete this present this to the message challenges can be a challenge for them and once they complete this they have completed their child for the third grade activity I chose science vocabulary I told 6 science vocabulary words and then I again I got a kid friendly definition off of the internet and in the words are scrambled so your child will read a law which region of Earth that has certain a certain climate and certain types of living things and they have to unscramble these letters to figure out their science vocabulary word and again letter Community light are wonderful so have these letters at home please have your child work what is even third graders like to manipulate letters I love anything that they get to sit their hands on so hopefully they will rearrange these letters and they will unscrambled map with c word Merry Go biome because a biome is a large region of Earth that has a certain climate and certain types of living things and again for synthesizers see your child let's review today's activity not only will help your child learn new vocabulary but you can also learn his sight words I hope this is helpful by
