What We Do
At STE, the school counselors provide many different services. Some of these include classroom guidance lessons, individual counseling, small group counseling, and more! This year, our classes are called S.E.L.F. classes. S.E.L.F. stands for Social Emotional Learning Fundamentals. We believe that development in these skills are essential for your child.
The counselors at STE are also the Section 504 contacts and the Student Assistance Team facilitators. If you feel your child is in need of some kind of service, feel free to contact your child's grade level counselor or classroom teacher.
Some of the topics covered in whole group lessons include anti-bullying, character education, healthy choices, personal safety, and much more. You can find out what we are learning about currently on the next page!
